What I offer
Individual Psychotherapy
I work with adolescents, college students, and women in early adulthood who are eager to explore their thoughts, behaviors, and patterns of interaction in the world. My approach is rooted in intention, reflection, and empowerment, creating a space where clients feel both emotionally safe and encouraged to embrace growth. I find joy in helping women navigate life transitions, fostering self-awareness, and cultivating resilience.
An Evidence-Based Approach
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is often revered as the gold standard of anxiety treatment, which involves understanding the interrelation between our thoughts, feelings, and emotions. The primary psychotherapies I use are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy and Solutions-Focused Therapy. As a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional, I understand how important it is to incorporate existent and emerging research with evidence-based treatment to inform best practice with my clients.
A Holistic Approach
What this really means is that I believe in balance. Healing and transformation begin when our individual Parts, our body, mind, and heart/soul are connected. When our lives appear chaotic, unbalanced, or even hopeless, we will utilize cognitive behavioral techniques alongside tools like guided imagery, breath-work, tapping, and journaling to rebalance the nervous system while working through unhealed wounds or trauma.
Emotional Wellness Coaching
Whether it be stress-management, resilience building, or navigating life transition, coaching is a great option for goal-oriented individuals who are looking for emotional support outside of the traditional therapy model. With coaching sessions, I help individuals cultivate resilience, clarity, and a sense of purpose by focusing on mindset and personal growth. Together, we’ll craft strategies to enhance your emotional well-being and unlock your potential through a structured yet flexible approach to help you thrive.
This work is distinct from my role as psychotherapist as coaching is not therapy. While therapy addresses mental health conditions and explores the past to heal, coaching is future-focused, empowering clients to set actionable goals and build the life they desire.
